21 Days of Prayer & Fasting 2026 - Starts on January 9, 2026
Thrive Church is beginning 2026 with 21 Days of Prayer and Fasting as we set aside intentional time to put God first. Fasting is a biblical discipline that helps us draw closer to God, quiet distractions, and pursue spiritual clarity and breakthrough.
Why We Fast
Throughout Scripture, God’s people fasted to seek direction, renewal, and spiritual strength. Jesus taught that fasting carries blessing and reward for those who seek God wholeheartedly. When we fast, we create more space for God to work in our lives.

Baptism Sunday - Made New
Take your next step at Baptism Sunday!
Baptism is an exciting and powerful step of faith—a moment to declare to the world that your life has been made new in Christ. It’s a celebration of your decision to follow Jesus and to live in the new life He has given you. And at Thrive, we believe this is not just your step alone—it’s a family celebration where the church comes together to cheer you on and stand with you in your journey of faith.
What is Water Baptism?
Water baptism is an outward, public expression of an inward reality that takes place in the life of one who trusts in Christ for salvation. It’s a way for a believer to publicly declare that they have made the decision to accept Jesus as their Lord and Savior and to share this special moment with family and friends.
The Bible gives us this picture of baptism:
Who Should Be Baptized?
Anyone who believes in Jesus Christ! Baptism is the next step of obedience and a bold declaration of faith.
“Then Peter said to them, ‘Repent, and let every one of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins; and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.’” (Acts 2:38 NKJV)

- “Then those who gladly received his word were baptized; and that day about three thousand souls were added to them.” (Acts 2:41)
- “Jesus answered, ‘Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God.’” (John 3:5)
- “When all the people were baptized, it came to pass that Jesus also was baptized…” (Luke 3:21–22)
